We've been getting a lot of fruit

Hello!

Sounds like not much is going on back home, but that's probably a good thing hahaha... You guys probably need a break. Yeah, go eat mango ice. It's so good. Although it probably won't be the same since Taiwan has the best mangos. We eat mango's all the time now. The ward members are really good to us and feed us lots of mangos.

Okay, well... for starters, I don't really have a whole lot to write about this week. Most of our investigators are disappearing and not really answering their phones and stuff, which, to be honest, is pretty usual. Hahahaha.

I also had the opportunity to go on exchanges with Elder Meng from LA, California. His parents are from China, but they moved to California and then he grew up speaking Chinese and English - American Born Chinese (ABC). He's really cool. On top of that, he's also Elder Fuller's trainee, so we had a fun time talking about Elder Fuller and Chinese. He's really fun and we saw some cool stuff happen. Well for one thing, it was really refreshing to have a companion to actually be there contacting with me. And then on top of that, his Chinese is fluent, so it was nice to hear a China accent and learn some tips and stuff from him. On top of that, we saw a cool little exchange miracle. We went knocking doors, which in Taiwan doesn't really work, but we went anyway for fun and we got let in on the last house we went to. The guy didn't have a ton of interest but he was willing to listen to a quick 1st lesson. He didn't set up another appointment and gave us some lame excuses, but we're going to try going back. I think he has SOME interest. If he didn't have interest he probably wouldn't have let us in.

Other than that, nothing really happened. It was just really hot and everything was kind of quiet. We've been having some trouble finding investigators for some reason...........But, we're trying our best.

On Monday, Brother Zhang took us to FoGuangShan. It was really fun and it was nice to talk to him. I've already been, so I didn't take any pictures.... but Elder Hongvilai took a lot of pictures.

We've been getting a lot of fruit from a man named Tom. Tom is not an investigator or a member. He's just a really nice guy. He's Christian and somehow figured out where our apartment is, so he comes to our apartment and gives a fruit most nights. So we've been eating tons of fruit every night. All he asks for is that we pray for his son to do well on his test, so before we eat the fruit we pray for Tom's son and his family.

That's basically the week. Today Brother Zhang is taking us to a waterfall in Pingdong. That should be pretty fun!

I'm grateful for everybody that supports me on my mission! I love you all so very much!
